Panels on Simposeum

Convene several thinkers on one question and let them talk to each other — agreeing, objecting, interrupting, and translating one another's vocabulary into their own. A moderator decides who speaks next and why, so the exchange moves rather than circling.

Each panelist answers from their own work, so a disagreement on the panel is a disagreement the texts actually record. Panels can be seated across disciplines as well as within one — a philosopher and a psychologist on the same question rarely reach for the same vocabulary.

Drawn from 158 thinkers — Philosophy (121), Psychology (27), Rhetoric (10).
